City Budget
The City of Casper operates on a fiscal year that begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year.

The City of Casper operates on a fiscal year budget that must be approved by the City Council before the beginning of each fiscal year. This adopted budget controls the amount of money that legally can be spent during the approved time period and serves as a guiding financial operating document during the fiscal year.

Adopted Budget for FY 2012

The budget for FY 2012 was reviewed by the city council at a series of work sessions on May 24, 25, and 26, 2011.  The budget encompasses all of the funding for the city's operations and capital expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year, which runs from July 2011 through June 2012.  The budget with City Council's changes was formally adopted at the council meeting on June 21th.  There was a public hearing held at that time.
