Lessons & Packages
Hogadon Explorers – Multi week program
Our instructors are trained in teaching skiing and snowboarding safely to kids. Our staff love working with younger kids while using games and play to encourage learning. Learning happens and skills develop while kids are having fun. They will explore the mountain, try new skills, terrain and snow conditions and most importantly – have a great time!
- Groups meet every Saturday 9:30 am – 2:00 pm starting December 26 – April 6th
- All season multi week program also includes two Christmas Camps: $350.00
- Focus is on fundamental skill development and mountain exploration. This program is appropriate for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
- Lift ticket or equipment not included
- Minimum age for skiers is 4 yrs old and 7 yrs for snowboarders
Buddy Werner Program – Multi week program
- Ages 5-10, with established abilities (linked turns & ride the lift solo) wanting to improve and advance
- Focus is on advancing skiing skills and technique with emphasis on preparing for racing
- Groups meet every Saturday 9:30 am – 2:00 pm starting December 26 – April 6th
- All season multi week program also includes two Christmas Camps: $350.00
- Lift ticket or equipment not included
*Helmets are required for all participants in Buddy Werner and Hogadon Explorers*
Can’t commit for the entire Season?
§ We also offer two/2 day Ski & Snowboard Camps over the Christmas School Break. $75 for each camp.
Learn to Ski & Ride Weekends!
Special Learn to Ski & Ride Weekends. Only $35 for a 2 hr group lesson package. Limited Space, please call to make a reservation. This lesson package is ideal for that brand new skier or snowboarder as well as those not quite ready for blue runs (levels 1, 2 or 3).
§ Lessons begin at 10 am or 1 pm. Please arrive at least an hour before your lesson time.
- This package includes lift ticket, equipment rental and a 2 hour group lesson.
- Equipment included are skis, poles and boots or snowboard and boots.
- Lessons are for ski and snowboard levels 1, 2 and 3.
- Minimum age for skiers is 4 yrs old and 7 yrs for snowboarders.
- Groups are divided up by age and level
- Helmets are required for ages 12 and younger.

Private Lessons (1-3 people)
Personal attention and individual feedback – it is all about you. Learn in a one-on-one environment, or bring your friends or family with you. Decide between ski or snowboard. A private lesson is perfect for a beginner just getting started or that advanced skier looking for personalized coaching to fine tune technique. We have several private coaching options to meet your needs. Let us help you reach your skiing and snowboarding goals. It’s your choice!
- 2hr -$75 Lesson Only.
- Full day (5hrs) 10 am – 3 pm $175 Lesson Only.
- Private lessons are designed to serve you and up to 2 of your friends. $20 for each additional person. Discount lift tickets available. Rentals not included
- Lesson times start at 10 am or 1 pm everyday Hogadon is open. Call ahead for a reservation as space is limited.
- All ages & abilities are welcome. Guests taking lessons together should be of similar age and ability.
