Planning Content


The Planning Division provides long range community planning services to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. The Planning Division conducts the staff review development and redevelopment projects within the community. The Planning Division is responsible for questions related to development, zoning, and land use issues including:

 

Conditional Use Permits and Exceptions/Variances are reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Annexations require approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. Once the Commission recommends approval, City Council approval is done by Ordinance and requires three readings.

Application deadlines are 30-days prior to the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
