Smart Growth is a philosophy and planning implementation tool to guide the direction of growth in a community. In many ways, it is a flashback to the way we built our old neighborhoods. Houses with front porches, sidewalks, small blocks, and the ability to walk to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and more. The tenets of Smart Growth, are therefore, often seen in our older neighborhoods.
