2nd Annual Promoting Our Women Warriors of Wyoming Event
(POWWOW)Presented by the Sheridan VA Medical Center
Saturday, May 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The main goal of the event is to empower women veterans to utilize skills learned in the military, including: assertiveness, critical thinking, decision making, communication, team building, in their daily lives. Women need to be encouraged to take charge of their lives, make tough decisions, move towards a goal. This applies in relationships, jobs, families, healthcare and more.
The event is open to all women veterans, regardless of affiliation with the VA. This is a free seminar. For more information or you can also register at the Sheridan VAMC at (307) 675-3694.
