The Casper Police Department Front desk handles a wide range of duties for CPD. VIN checks, Fingerprints and Abandoned Vehicles are just some of these duties.
VIN checks are done at 201 N. David during normal business hours. If your vehicle is located outside of city limits you can contact PSCC to request a Sheriff's Office Deputy or an officer for your city location.
Fingerprints are done Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m.
*Sheriff's Office does fingerprints Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Evansville Police Department Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Mills Police Department Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The property evidence department is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The property /evidence department houses recovered property, found property and seized property. The Property/Evidence personnel are the only authorized persons to release property and only during normal business hours.

The Records Department is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Citizens may obtain copies of an accident report, personal background checks, as well as Incident and Offense reports for things that occurred inside the city limits of Casper.

To request a burn permit in Natrona County.
Permits are not required for household trash burning in a barrel with spark arrestor ( screen) and is regulated by the Wyoming State DEQ. All Burning is banned during any day when a " Red Flag Warning" by the Bureau of Land Management of National Weather Service is issued or at anytime when general " Burn Bans " are approved by the Natrona County Commissioners.
