Chimney Brush

Chimney Brush

For do-it-yourselfers, chimney brushes are available for loan at Fire Station #1, 200 W. 1st Street.  Folks are welcome to come and check out brushes to clean their chimneys.  They will be required to provide contact information upon check-out and we ask that they return them as soon as they are done to maintain availability.

Fireplaces and chimneys should be cleaned and inspected every year to prevent chimney fires.  Professional cleaning and inspections are available from local vendors as well…look in the yellow pages/internet for chimney cleaning and or fireplaces.

Life Jacket Program

Life Jacket Program

The swift current of the North Platte River can bring welcome relief from the heat and provide hours of entertainment, but the current is deceptively strong. While the features at the white water park draw locals and visitors alike, they are fun when used with the proper gear, but they can be particularly dangerous for the unprepared. Life jackets should be worn at all times - especially at the white water park.

Casper Fire-EMS would like to remind everyone that loaner life jackets are available at all fire stations. The loaners are a available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The life jacket loaner program has been used by thousands of our citizens over the past few summers. Keep cool and stay safe this summer!
