Crime Prevention
What is “Crime Prevention”?
Crime Prevention reduces crime and victimization by empowering citizens to become less vulnerable to criminals.
The Casper Police Department’s Crime Prevention office has recently moved from the Casper Police Department and is currently located in the City Center Building at 100 W. "B" Street, Suite 202 in the Community Risk Reduction Unit. The office is staffed by a Casper Police Officer with 7 1/2 years of law enforcement experience.
Crime Prevention offers a range of services free to the public, which include presentations and programs on topics that range from crime prevention, personal safety, traffic safety, and drug and alcohol recognition. Crime Prevention is also available to set up a Neighborhood Watch on your street.
