Sidewalk Snow Removal

It is the responsibility of home and business owners to clear the snow from sidewalks and parking areas.  It is best to clear snow as soon as possible to maintain dry and safe walkways.  Snow should be shoveled onto lawns or another area of the property and should not be shoveled into the street, alley or gutter by city ordinance.

Snow that is shoveled into the street or gutter interrupts snow removal and can create access issues on your residential street.  Snow shoveled onto streets can also create icy conditions.
