Collins Drive Improvement Project

Project Scope
The project includes detailed construction documents for four blocks of East Collins Drive from Center to Kimball Streets.

The project identifies two phases of construction.  Phase One currently extends from the east side of the Kimball and 3rd Street intersection to the west side of the Durbin instersection. 



Major Project Elements Include

• Roadway and parking modifications
• Modifications to intersections of Collins and 3rd Street, and Collins and Kimball.
• Undergrounding of overhead electric lines
• Widening sidewalks
• Streetscape amenities such as trees, shrubs, street lighting, bike racks, trash receptacles, and benches
