Thursday Route Extra Collection Guidelines As of May 1, 2012, the City of Casper will ban yard waste and branches from trash containers on the Thursday trash collection route. The ban will be expanded to include all collection routes over a five year period until all routes are under the ban. Under the ban, green waste such as grass clippings, leaves, shrubbery, flower clippings, and branches may not be placed in garbage containers (visit the
yard waste collection page for more information). Areas under the ban will have a different extra trash collection schedule to help residents dispose of branches and leaves. Weeds should be placed in bags, securely tied closed and thrown in the dumpster.
