Solid Waste Facility Rates

The facility has rates for businesses and residents of Natrona County and rates for businesses and residents outside Natrona County. Some cities and towns have written agreements with the City of Casper and their residents pay the Natrona County resident rate. To find out if your city or town has an agreement with the City of Casper, please call the solid waste office at (307) 235-8246.
 

Utility Bills

Residents of Casper who utilize city trash services are provided one balefill pass on each City of Casper Utility Bill. One (1) utility bill pass is good for one (1)entry and is good for one (1) year from the billing date. The utility bill pass is valid for one (1) car, one (1) standard size pickup bed or one (1) 10 foot trailer load of trash.
 
Utility bill passes are also provided by the town of Bar Nunn, Evansville, and the town of Mills. Citizens of Glenrock may present a valid Wyoming driver's license showing a physical Glenrock address as a pass.  All passes are subject to the same rules.
 
The following items are not eligible for utility bill pass use: trailers over 10 feet in length, non-standard pick up beds, commercial loads, non-friable asbestos, CFC (Freon) containing appliances and tires.
 

Items Accepted Free

The following items are accepted at the facility free of charge (some items are free to residential customers only):
  • Metal items such as swing sets, bicycles, filing cabinets, desks, etc.
  • Non-CFC metal appliances such as ovens, dryers, washers, water heaters, etc.
  • Bicycle and other small tires
  • Household hazardous wastes such as paint, oil, gas, pesticides, herbicides, cleaners, etc. from residents. (Businesses must qualify for CESQG and pay a fee)
  • Fluorescent light bulbs ($1 fee for businesses)
  • Residential yard waste such as grass clippings, branches, hay, sod, etc.
  • Electronics such as televisions, VCRs, digital cameras, computers, computer monitors, etc. (per pound and/or per ton fee for businesses)

The following rates are subject to change. Please call the solid waste office at (307)235-8246 for the most current rate information.  Resident rate is for Natrona County residents.

  • Car Load-- $6  Resident/ $7.80 Non Resident 
  • Residential Pickup/ trailer load (10 ft and under in length)-- $15 Resident/ $19.50 Non Resident
  • Commercial Pickup/ trailer load (8 ft and under in length)-- $15 Resident/ $19.50 Non Resident
  • Commercial trailer load (over 8 ft in length)-- $49 per ton Resident/ $63.70 per ton Non Resident
  • Garbage Packers/ large trailers/large trucks-- $49 per ton Resident/ $63.70 per ton Non-Resident
  • Residential violation of secured load ordinance-- $15 surcharge Resident and Non-Resident
  • Commercial violation of secured load ordinance-- $50 surcharge Resident and Non-Resident
  • CFC (i.e. Freon) containing units door removed(refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water coolers)-- $28 per unit Resident/ $36.40 per unit Non-Resident
  • CFC (i.e. Freon) containing units door on(refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water coolers)-- $32 per unit Resident/ $41 per unit Non-Resident
  • Clean metal and metal non-CFC appliances-- Free for Residents and Non-Residents
  • Tires on the wheel-- not accepted
  • Passenger car/ pickup tire off the wheel (under 16") limit 4-- $3 per tire Resident/ $3.90 per tire Non-Resident
  • Motorcycle tire off the wheel limit 4-- $3 per tire Resident/ $3.90 per tire Non-Resident
  • Heavy truck/ semi truck tire off the wheel (over 16" up to 22") limit 4- $6 per tire Resident/ $7.80 per tire Non-Resident
  • Bulk Car, Pickup Truck, Heavy Truck, Semi Truck Tires (more than 30 de-rimmed tires)- $135 per ton Resident/ $175.50 per ton Non-Resident

  • Bicycle and other small tires-- Free for Residents and Non-Residents Heavy Equipment tires (tractors, loaders, etc)-- Not accepted
