Casper has been experiencing a huge economic boom in the last ten years, and its economy has continued to grow despite the national economic downturn. Casper’s personal income was 17th in the country among the nation’s 366 metropolitan areas per the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In 2012, HUD estimated the median family income of the Casper metropolitan area to be $67,000.
