Orange Route Change bus stop moved from IHOP to Murdoch'sCasper Area Transit’s LINK (fixed route service) will add a new bus stop on the Orange Route serving Evansville on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  The current bus shelter, near the Baymont Hotel and former IHOP restaurant, is being relocated to a new location near Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply on Miracle Street.  The relocation is occurring to accommodate the expanded parking lot for the Chili’s Restaurant currently under construction. The bus shelter and stop will be relocated on Monday, and service will continue without interruption. There will be no change to the schedule timing or route direction. The Orange route will stop at the bus shelter at approximately 35 minutes past each hour, from 6:35 A.M. to 5:35 P.M., Monday – Friday (excluding federal holidays).

“Casper Area Transit and the Town of Evansville are pleased to partner with the new Chili’s restaurant on their parking needs, while continuing to serve the community with a dedicated bus stop in an evolving commercial area. We appreciate the citizens’ patience as the bus stop relocation happens on Monday,” said Chad Edwards, Mayor of Evansville.

The revised schedule for the Orange Route is available on the Casper Area Transit website at www.casperareatransit.org, on print versions from the drivers, and at the Transit office (1715 E. 4th Street).
