The Casper Ice Arena is home ice for hundreds of youth hockey players that live in and around the Central Region of Wyoming.  The Casper Ice Arena will be offering several Stick ‘n Puck sessions, Learn-to-Play Hockey programs, Family Hockey programs, and are supportive of our local hockey clubs.

Learn-to-Play Hockey


Learn-To-Play Hockey is designed to introduce kids to the sport of ice hockey. Practices include a range of skating, puck handling, and team play activities. Full hockey equipment and the ability to ice skate forward is required. Mile High Mites

Registration for Mile High Mites is CLOSED and will reopen in Summer 2019.

The Casper Skating School has partnered with the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche to introduce youth athletes to the sport of ice hockey. The Mile High Mites Learn-to-Play Hockey program will meet each Saturday morning during the Fall.Participants receive a full set of CCM youth hockey gear and six weeks of one-hour sessions at the Casper Ice Arena.  

Casper Amateur Hockey Club

Family Hockey Night is FULL and will reopen Summer 2019

Family Hockey Night is an opportunity for parents and kids to enjoy the game of ice hockey together. Children can play cross-ice drop-in hockey games on one side with adults playing goalie.The other side of the rink will be designed as a hockey playground. Great opportunity for first time parents/players.
