Youth Art & PotteryYouth ages 6-12 will bring out their creative side and learn techniques of working with clay including hand building, throwing on the wheel, finishing and glazing! All supplies and firings are included.

Babysitting Clinic

This course, for ages 11-13 interested in babysitting outside of the home, emphasized the physical safety and security of the child and teaches important needs such as friendship, understanding, and patience. Students receive a notebook with first aid information, resource guide, handouts, and make their own babysitting bag to use on their jobs. Students need to bring a sack lunch.


Join Lauren Tyson in these tast and fun filled decorating classes! Choose to experiment in a 2-3 hour workshop or delve into the 4 week session that encourages creativity and explores the joys of baking while learning beginning decorating skills. Ingredients and tools provided; wear clothing you don't mind getting messy. Decorating opportunities include:

Beginning Bakery Decorating, ages 8-12– Learn how to prepare icing, make cupcakes, work with different decorating tips and even how to work with the wonders of fondant!

Beginning Cake Decorating, adults– Learn basic decorating on 6 inch cakes including smoothing sides, borders, lettering and flowers.

Let it Snow Cupcakes, ages 8-12– Students will have fun making snowmen, penguins, polar bears, and snowflake cupcakes.

Cake Pops, ages 8-12– Students with create dough by mixing crumbs with frosting, then forming into balls, dip into chocolate and decorate.

Spring Cupcakes, ages 8-12– Have fun decorating cupcakes with chicks, baskets, bunnies, and flowers.

Mom and Me Cupcakes, ages 4-7 with an adult– Attendees will be led in decorating mini-cupcakes for spring with their kiddos.

ALL MEDIAWater Color

Come and have fun exploring your favorite art medium whether it be acrylic, oil, collage or watercolor. Class begins with a critique and feedback session, followed by creative tips and instruction from Michele McDonald, plus plenty of time to paint. Gain inspiration from the other artists in the class. All levels are welcome.


Learn to knit or crochet or increase your skills and learn how to read patterns. Beginner students will work on an easy scarf or hat and those who know the basics will work on sampler patterns. Supply list available at registration. Instructor: Nancy Pawlowski


Knit or Crochet a boucle or fun fur scarf in a couple hours. The boucle yarn or fun fur yarn and #35 knitting needles are included in the registration fee. Some beginning knitting knowledge is helpful but not necessary. Instructor: Nancy Pawlowski


Learn the ancient art form of decorating eggs using wax resist and dyes. Step by step instruction will be given to create a one of a kind traditional Pysanka (decorated eggs). Bring a sack lunch or food is available for purchase at the Ice Arena snack bar. All supplies furnished. Instructor: Lori Spearman
