"Reflections of Casper:
Artwork by Suzette McIntyre"

September 13 to November 30, 2019

Fort Caspar Museum has a new exhibit opening Friday, September 13th, with works by Casper-born artist Suzette McIntyre.  Composed of 17 canvases, this exhibit features McIntyre’s artistic interpretation of what she calls the “Milestones,” “Landmarks,” and “Recreational Heritage Sites” that have given Casper its colorful history.

The works labeled MILESTONES reveal four major turning points in Casper’s evolution; the LANDMARK pieces portray some of Casper’s history through iconic structures that are still standing today; and the RECREATIONAL HERITAGE works display the natural beauty surrounding Casper.

Accompanying the canvases are historic photos from the archives of Casper College’s Western History Center as well as other significant collections.
