Come and have fun exploring your favorite art  medium whether it be acrylic, oil, collage or watercolor. Class begins with a critique and feedback session, followed by creative tips and instruction from Michele McDonald, plus plenty of time to paint. Gain inspiration from the other artists in the class. All levels are welcome. Classes are offered in the fall and winter sessions.

Youth Art & PotteryYouth ages 6-12 will bring out their creative side and learn techniques of working with clay including hand building, throwing on the wheel, finishing and glazing! All supplies and firings are included.

Babysitting Clinic

This course, for ages 11-13 interested in babysitting outside of the home, emphasized the physical safety and security of the child and teaches important needs such as friendship, understanding, and patience. Students receive a notebook with first aid information, resource guide, handouts, and make their own babysitting bag to use on their jobs. Students need to bring a sack lunch.

Decorated CupcakesCUPCAKE & CAKE DECORATING

Join Lauren Tyson in these tasty and fun filled decorating classes! Choose to experiment in a 2-3 hour workshop or delve into the 4 week session that encourages creativity and explores the joys of baking while learning beginning decorating skills. Ingredients and tools provided; wear clothing you don't mind getting messy. Decorating opportunities include:

Beginning Bakery Decorating, ages 8-12– Learn how to prepare icing, make cupcakes, work with different decorating tips and even how to work with the wonders of fondant!

Summer Cupcakes– Students will have fun making summer themed cupcakes such as a campfire, popsicle, beach scene, fishing, and more!


Cooking with kids or teensKid's Cooking

This is the perfect class for kids to explore their love of cooking and grow their skills. Students will learn culinary fundamentals such as safety and sanitation, measuring, and chopping. Each student will take home a sample of their creations and a copy of the recipes for simple breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals; and some easy dessert and snack recipes.

KnittingBASIC KNITTING & CROCHET

Learn to knit or crochet or increase your skills and learn how to read patterns. Beginner students will work on an easy scarf or hat and those who know the basics will work on sampler patterns. Science labScience Lab

Each week students will create unique and exciting experiments as we dive into the wonderful world of science. This class is designed to help kids to develop the tools needed to approach experiments with a problem-solving mindset.
