• Beginning Wednesday, May 20, the Recreation Center will be expanding service offerings in accordance with state health guidelines. The expansion of services will include reopening the weight room, locker rooms, and implementation of specified hours for singles pickleball and table tennis play.
    Group sports including basketball, volleyball, and doubles pickleball and table tennis are still prohibited. At this time, patrons will be permitted in the building without making a reservation. In the event the area is filled to capacity, patrons will be asked to come back at a later time.
    Hours of operation for the Recreation Center will remain in modified format:
    • Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm
    • Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
    • Sundays – CLOSED
    Due to current restrictions, patrons will be permitted to use the following areas as capacity permits:
    • Cardio Room: capacity 10
    • West Gymnasium: capacity 15 (for additional cardio equipment use)
    • East Gymnasium: capacity 15. (Basketball (individual), exercising, etc), 
    SINGLES only pickleball play (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9-11 am)

    • Weight Room: capacity 10
    • Activity Room: capacity 10 (Open only for drop-in SINGLES table tennis on Saturdays from 1-3 pm)
    • Locker Rooms: capacity 8 per room (Daily lockers and steam rooms will remain closed; annually rented lockers and showers will be available to patrons)
    All workout equipment will be cleaned by staff in between each patron use, per state order. Additionally, locker rooms will be properly cleaned, and any lockers used will be disinfected after each use (patrons must let the front desk know they will be using an annually rented locker and what the locker number is.)
    Patrons must either scan in with a current Recreation Center pass or complete a day pass form for COVID-19 tracing in the event that this becomes necessary.
    Staff and patrons are encouraged to keep their social distance of a minimum of 6’ at all times.
    We are looking forward to continue offer services to our community and appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation with listed safety procedures. The Casper Family Aquatics Center will open on June 22 and Casper Ice Arena is closed for remodeling at this time.

Casper Family Aquatic Center The Casper Family Aquatic Center is the area's largest aquatic facility. If offers two huge slides, hot tub, lap pool and many water features. Swim lessons and water exercise classes are held at various times throughout the day and evening. Individuals and families are sure to find many opportunities to stay active and have fun this Winter.

Ice Arena

Casper Ice Arena The Casper Ice Arena is one of the finest ice skating facilities in the Rocky Mountain Region. The ice arena offers a wide variety of programs including public skating, skating classes through the Casper Skating School, figure skating, hockey, curling, special events, birthday parties, and private rentals. The Casper Ice Arena also offers a full service concession stand and skate sharpening.
