Summer Recreation Guide
The City of Casper offers a variety of Aquatic Recreation opportunities year round. In the summer there are three outdoor pools throughout town and the Casper Family Aquatic Center. All City of Casper pools are staffed with American Red Cross certified lifeguards. Our swim lesson program offers the full American Red Cross program. Water Exercise classes are held at various times throughout the day. Indoors or Outdoors, you are sure to find many opportunities to cool off this summer!

The Casper Ice Arena is one of the finest ice skating facilities in the Rocky Mountain Region. The ice arena offers a wide variety of programs including public skating, skating classes through the Casper Skating School, figure skating, hockey, curling, special events, birthday parties, and private rentals. The Casper Ice Arena also offers a full service concession stand and skate sharpening.

The Casper Recreation Center offers classes in a variety of areas including: Health & Fitness, Arts, Crafts, & Specialty, Sports & Martial Arts, Dance, and special programs for elementary age children during school holidays and summer vacation, Camps and Festivals.

Welcome to the wonderful world of dance! A variety of classes are offered for all ages and abilities to improve coordination, flexibility and self-confidence and promote a positive outlook of dance. Recitals are held at the end of Fall and Spring session and costumes are included in the registration.
Arts, Crafts, and Specialty Classes
Learn a new skill, enhance your current skills, get crafty and educated with a variety of arts, crafts, and specialty classes at the Rec Center. There are a variety of youth and adult classes to choose from.
Camps & Festivals
Not sure of what to do with the kids during school breaks? The Rec Center hosts a variety of camps, festivals and special events throughout the year to help you keep the kids from getting bored on school breaks.
