Recycling televisions and monitors has become cost prohibitive, so they are now going to the landfill. The Casper Solid Waste Facility will still offer free disposal for televisions and monitors from city and county residents, but they will go to the Baler Building and not to the E-Waste area. The City of Casper will also pick up televisions and monitors. If a screen is 13 inches or less it may be placed in the trash container so long as it does not overfill the container. Residents may also put out televisions and monitors that weigh less than 50 pounds for extra collection.
